I’m afraid that I am going to have to put the car in the shop this week, it is running rough, and I don’t want to be out and about going to or from an errand and have it quit on me.  Especially when there are so many “dead spots” in the cell phone service out here.  It acts like it is running out of gas, but it has plenty of gas.  So I put a can of dry gas in it, thinking that maybe it was just some water in the tank, and it ran fine the next day, but started acting up again the day after.  So maybe it’s the fuel filter, or the fuel pump.  I don’t know, but it needs to be fixed!

Today I was rummaging around in the basement and found my old pair of rollerblades! It has been about ten years since I’ve used them, and to be perfectly honest I had even forgotten that I had them! I rummaged around a little bit more and found the elbow pads, knee pads and helmet. When I was telling my girl friend about my grandfather’s rags to riches story she told me that our family was a member of the Nouveau Riche club.  I asked her “what do you mean?”  She explained that term means “newly rich” and it means that the person started out poor and ended up wealthy.  So, I guess she’s right, at least when it pertains to my grandfather - he started out poor and ended up rich!  But the way my parents are spending that money, I’m going to be just as poor as he was, because I’m sure not going to be inheriting any of it!
