My father’s boss’s brother died a couple of days ago, and the funeral service is tomorrow evening. My father feels that we should all go to the service to show our respect to the family. I understand what he is saying, but I never met the guy and am barely on speaking terms to my father’s boss, so I don’t quite “get” why my father wants me to go! I certainly understand why my parents would go, but I don’t think dragging me along is going to do any good at all. This is quite an annoyance, I really would rather not go. Funerals are NOT my favorite events to attend!
