New microwave oven
I was cooking dinner the other night. The meal was half cooked and I went to check it. As I opened the microwave, which happens to be one of my favorite tools for cooking, I discovered that the dish was still cold! I checked all of my settings on the microwave because sometimes I have the microwave set on defrost and I don’t always remember to turn it to cook. This was not the case. The microwave setting was on “high” but the food was not getting hot. I reset the microwave again, just to make sure that I hadn’t made a mistake and left it for another fifteen minutes. I could hear the microwave humming, and I went back to doing something else. Well, the timer went off, I went to the microwave, opened it up, took out the meal, it was still cold! I was very upset! I was HUNGRY! I didn’t have time for this! I immediately pulled a pan out of the cupboard, put the meal on the stove and poured some water in it, dropped in a couple of hot dogs and made a mental note to go to Wal-Mart in the morning and buy a new microwave!
