One day I’d like to own a grandfather clock
I’ve always liked grandfather clocks. I think that they give an extra special “warmth” to a house. I live in a house that has a grandfather clock in it, but it doesn’t belong to me. I like it quite a bit; when I am married and out on my own someday I would like to have a grandfather clock of my own. Maybe my hubby and I would buy it as an anniversary clock to commemorate our wedding!
I’m not quite sure where we would put the clock because I don’t know yet what the house will be like. I’d like to put it in the foyer, or living room. The dining room would be ok too, but I think I’d like to put it in the living room. I’ve been daydreaming about what clock I’d like to get when I DO get the chance to buy one, and picked out my favorite one already. It is one of the curio cabinet clocks where you can store your collectibles in the base of it. I really like the idea of using the clock to display your favorite collectibles in it. The one I like the best has an arched top to it, and it has a modern look to it.
