Satellite Radio Reality Radio Show
A good friend of mine has satellite radio service in his car. He loves having it, says he’ll never go back to “free radio” again. Personally, I don’t spend enough time in a car to want to spend any money to pay for radio, I’m perfectly happy listening to free radio, or a tape or CD. But anyway, my friend has satellite radio in his car. The other day I was riding with him in his car and we were listening to the Bald Truthshow by Spencer Kobren. The show is heard nationwide on XM satellite Radio, but is broadcast from Los Angeles. The Bald Truth is America’s longest running men’s reality radio show, and its mission is to serve as an on-air support group for men who are losing their hair. It has been nationally syndicated for over ten years!
Hair loss is a huge issue for men – especially young men who start to lose their hair while still in high school, or college. They get very self conscious about it, it damages their ego more than most people realize. Many of them search for ways to “cure” their baldness, through chemical products or through some kind of hair transplant procedure.
Until I listened to this show, I didn’t realize that male pattern baldness affects approximately 66% of men by the age of 35! I really had not noticed that many men “out there” who are bald!
