Winter Yard Work
My aunt called our house today. She lives in Tennesee. She was telling us that they’ve had so much rain this month that they have not been able to get outside and rake up the leaves in their yard. This really bothers her. she likes to have a nice looking yard and the leaves are laying in layers and bunches out there – taunting her. So today she is expecting a break in the weather. Sunshine, low wind and temperatures that will let you work in just a flannel shirt instead of a heavy winter jacket.
I just had to laugh at the conversation because our yard is buried in about eighteen inches of snow! If there are any leaves out there on OUR lawn, we can’t see them!
